Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Python (Django) and ReactJS;
  • Take ownership of the architecture and development of internal platforms that support the full trading lifecycle — from pre-deal analysis and origination to execution, legal, KYC, compliance, risk management, and post-trade operations;
  • Build scalable, AI-enhanced systems that automate standard operating procedures and enable intelligent workflows;
  • Build and integrate AI-powered internal tools and copilots, including LLM-backed assistants for trade operations, deal intelligence, and workflow automation;
  • Collaborate closely with trading, operations, legal, compliance, and KYC teams to deliver solutions that match business needs;
  • Leverage AWS and Azure cloud services for application deployment, monitoring, and scalability;
  • Apply AI-first workflows using tools like Cursor IDE and LLMs to improve development speed and code quality;
  • Work in agile, cross-functional teams, partnering with product, AI, and QA, to deliver business-driven features through rapid, iterative sprints.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record in production systems;
  • 3+ years of experience with Python and frameworks like FastAPI or Django;
  • 3+ years of experience with React.js, with good knowledge of modern front-end tools and design patterns;
  • Practical use of AI tools, including:
    • AI-assisted development (e.g., Cursor IDE);
    • OpenAI or similar APIs;
    • Building or integrating LLM-based features into real products.
  • Strong skills in developing RESTful APIs, working with asynchronous backends, and implementing real-time features;
  • Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis);
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and writing automated tests;
  • At least Intermediate level of English (both spoken and written).

Bonus points for

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure is a plus);
  • Experience in trading, fintech, and hedge funds;
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable microservices;
  • Data engineering knowledge;
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
